Four volunteers for “The Spirit of Paul McGirr” returned from Lusaka, Zambia on Monday 16th April having spent a week putting their building skills to good use.  Martin Mc Cann, Stephen Corrigan & Conor McNabb from Dromore and Adrian Mullan from Tattyreagh all visited St Theresa’s Parish in the Chainda Compound in Lusaka to assist the local community in the building of a multi-purpose Parish centre.  The centre will comprise of a main hall, smaller rooms off the main hall for a medical clinic, a pre-school, various training workshops and a Parish office.  Building work has almost been completed and following the installation of windows the centre will be ready for plastering in June.  Two teams of four skilled labourers are currently preparing and fundraising to undertake the task of plastering the building in early June.
