A great night’s entertainment and craic was enjoyed by all at Hagan’s. A group of ten bricklayers organised this event to raise funds for their trip to Lusaka in April. Local band ‘Folk That’ kicked off the night of music and treated the large crowd in attendance to a lively repertoire of songs which certainly got people on the floor and kept them there for most of the night!!! A buffet was served in the interval and two very talented Irish dancers, Roisin O’Neill and Pauline Quinn (nee Masterson), performed jigs and reels much to the delight of the revellers. Stephen McCullagh’s, (Beatmaster), Disco was the nights finale and to say he pleased the crowd was an understatement to say the least. The ten lads (named below) did a superb job in organising such a successful night and raised the whopping sum of £5201.00 in the process. Thanks to the event organisers; Sean McDermott, Stephen Corrigan, Stephen O’Hanlon, Conor McNabb, Adrian Mullan, Jerome Donnelly, Aaron King, Adrian O’Neill, Benny McElholm and John McElduff. Sincere thanks to ‘Folk That’ and Stephen McCullagh who provided the entertainment free of charge, the Irish dancers and the staff at Hagan’s Bar for the use of their facilities free of charge and the excellent service received on the night.
